Kaido Veske
President - Fontainebleau Campus                                

Kaido Veske has over five years of experience in private equity and investment banking in New York and London. Prior to joining INSEAD, he spent over 3 years at Irving Place Capital, a $4.4 billion middle-market private equity fund based in New York focused on consumer retail and industrial industries. During this time, Kaido was extensively involved in distressed-for-control and leveraged buyout transactions including Chesapeake Corporation, CD Cartondruk, and Mold-Rite Plastics in the U.K., Germany, and U.S., respectively. He also completed the sale and refinancing processes for portfolio companies Stuart Weitzman and Multi Packaging Solutions, adding to this broad range of transaction execution experience. Before joining Irving Place, Kaido spent 2 years in the leveraged finance investment banking group at Bear Stearns in New York and London offices. Kaido holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Patrik Nevsten
President - Singapore Campus                                       Patrick Nevsten

Patrik Nevsten has more than 10 years of experience in private equity, public equity and real estate investing. He is a Partner at North Sea Capital, a leading Nordic private equity fund-of-funds manager with 1bn euros of assets under management. Patrik was one of the co-founders of the company when it started in 2007. Patrik is head of European investments, co-investments and investment processes at North Sea Capital. He sits on the advisory board of a number of leading European private equity funds and portfolio
companies.

Prior to North Sea Capital, Patrik worked at Nordea Private Equity and before that at Swedbank markets. In addition, Patrik developed a successful real estate company for a family office in Sweden completing a total of 11 transactions. He recently co-founded Funky Monkey Park A/S, a Scandinavian chain of Tree Top Adventure Parks. Patrik holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Management and Engineering and a B.Sc. in Business and Economics, both from Lund University. He has also completed executive education programs at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.

Michael Watson
Vice President                                                              

Michael Watson has 4 years of private equity experience. Prior to joining INSEAD, Michael worked for Navis Capital Partners, a South-East-Asia focused private equity firm with $3 billion under management. Michael has first-hand experience with all stages of the deal process (sourcing, transaction, portfolio management, and LP reporting) in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States. He was also seconded to a portfolio company where he led a team that successfully planned and executed the post-merger integration for a follow-on acquisition. Michael is an INSEAD Private Equity Club Officer, and a member of INSEAD's basketball and football clubs. He holds a dual-major BA in Politics and Economics from Tufts University in Massachusetts.

Benjamin Cistecky
Vice President                                                              

Benjamin Sang-Hjon Cistecky has got more than 5 years experience in management consulting. As a consultant for Oliver Wyman, Benjamin has advised TMT clients and private equity investors on business planning, due diligences, marketing strategies and operational turnarounds in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia. Before INSEAD, Benjamin was temporarily working for the Private Equity Group of Siemens Venture Capital, gaining substantial insights into Asian and European PE market dynamics. Benjamin is a vice president of the INSEAD Private Equity club and will graduate from INSEAD in July 2012.

Martin Cox
Vice President                                                              

Martin Cox joins IPEC from HRL Morrison & Co, a New Zealand based alternative asset manager, where he was an investment manger in unlisted equities. Martin was previously a consultant with McKinsey and Company, and also spent two years working in an internet start up. He holds both Bachelors and Masters of Commerce from the University of Auckland.

Eric Dew
Vice President                                                               

Eric Dew has experience across investment banking M&A, management consulting, and industry experience at a US fortune 200 consumer products company. Prior to INSEAD, Eric was the sector finance leader for Kimberly-Clark's $2bn international family care sector with coverage across 25+ countries in Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Previously, he worked in the corporate strategy group at Kimberly-Clark. Before Kimberly-Clark, Eric had worked both as a strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting - Strategy and Operations practice as well as an M&A investment banking analyst (consumer sector) with Piper Jaffray. Eric enrolled at INSEAD with the MBA Class of July 2012. He received his B.A. in Business-Economics from University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA).

Jonathan Godsall
Vice President                                                               

Jonathan Godsall was most recently the CEO and Co-Founder of Zumer Interactive, a San Francisco-based, venture capital-backed, software, strategy and research services provider. As CEO of Zumer, Jonathan oversaw the acquisition of global clients including Coca-Cola, UPS, Intuit and Nestle. While in San Francisco, Jonathan also managed to surf, road bike and ski regularly, sometimes even all during the same weekend. Prior to Zumer, Jonathan worked for two years as a Consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, working primarily from London and Paris offices. Before Roland Berger, Jonathan spent two years as an Investment Banking Analyst with the middle-market group of Wells Fargo Securities in Los Angeles. Jonathan completed his MSc in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics and his BA in History at Amherst College.

Mustafa Naveed
Vice President                                                               

Mustafa Naveed has five years of private equity and investment banking experience in the emerging markets. Prior to joining INSEAD, Mustafa spent three years at New Silk Route Advisors (NSR), a growth-focused private equity firm with $1.4 billion under management, in their Dubai office. At NSR, Mustafa originated, evaluated, structured and executed transactions where significant minority stakes in private companies were to be acquired. His experience in private equity included covering the education, infrastructure, manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare and retail sectors in the Middle East and South Asia. Mustafa was also actively involved in the management of NSR portfolio companies and was directly responsible for the management and strategy of one of the world's largest K-12 education chains with ~ 200,000 students.

Vu Pham
Vice President                                                               

Vu Pham has six years of experience in investment banking and leveraged finance. Prior to INSEAD, Vu worked four and a half years at BofA Merrill Lynch's global gaming and leisure investment banking practice in New York and Los Angeles. During this time, he raised over US$11 billion in leveraged debt and equity financings in addition to completing various strategic and M&A advisory assignments. Vu was promoted from analyst to associate in 2008. Prior to BofA Merrill Lynch, Vu worked for one and a half years at Wachovia Securities' leveraged finance group (now Wells Fargo Securities). Vu enrolled at INSEAD with the MBA Class of July 2012. He received a B.S. in Commerce in 2005 from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, with a dual concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Jay Suh
Vice President                                                               

Jay Suh has four years of experience in principal investment and investment banking, and another four years of experience in strategic consultancy. Prior to INSEAD, Jay worked 4 years at Macquarie Group where his primary responsibilities were principal investment, advisory to Macquarie-managed private equity funds, and M&A advisory services to 3rd party clients. While at Macquarie, Jay has gained in-depth and wide range of experience in private equity fund business, and transactional and structural issues in M&A transactions. Prior to Macquarie Group, Jay was a strategy consultant at Accenture in TMT sector where he devised solutions to various strategic and operational issues to leading Korean companies. Also, Immediately before INSEAD, Jay temporarily worked at Canning Park Capital in Singapore, long/short strategy hedge fund based in Sydney and Singapore and focused on Asia ex-Japan and Australia market, to gain knowledge in public equity market. Jay is a vice president of INSEAD Private Equity Club and he will graduate from INSEAD in July 2012. Jay has a multi-national Asian cultural background as he lived or worked in Korea, Indonesia, and Singapore in addition to his experience in the U.S. and France. He has an engineering bachelor and master degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) where he was on a full government scholarship for both degrees.
