Clubs

The quality and diversity of the INSEAD community creates a stimulating and fun atmosphere.  From consulting to cabaret, entrepreneurship to energy, INDEVOR to INSPORT, MBA participants engage in a variety of clubs, teams and events throughout the year. At the same time as pursuing your interests, you will be forming valuable networks and lifelong friendships during your year at INSEAD.

Below are some of INSEAD’s participant-led clubs and activities:

National Weeks

National Weeks take place throughout the year and are an INSEAD tradition on both campuses. Arranged by participants of a particular nationality, they showcase the country's culture, business, music, food, and national pastimes. As these events are often sponsored by a variety of companies from the country represented, they also provide valuable networking opportunities for MBA participants.

Global Leader Series

INSEAD's Global Leader Series (GLS) brings some of the world's most prominent and successful business leaders and entrepreneurs to our campuses in Fontainebleau and Singapore throughout the year.  Established by three MBA participants in 2001, the GLS has become an established part of the INSEAD events calendar. Rather than serve as a platform for corporate speeches, the Series is designed to give MBA participants a rare insight into the highlights and turning points of the careers of proven business leaders. To find out more about our recent and upcoming visitors, and the participants who brought them here, visit the Global Leader Series homepage.

Sports

Sporting facilities are excellent and a wide variety of sporting clubs are available for women and men on both campuses.  Many MBA participants represent INSEAD in one of these clubs at a number of inter-business school sporting events during the year, such as the MBA Olympics and the MBA Golf Challenge.

In Fontainebleau, the nearby forest also offers a fantastic environment for hiking and climbing, and the region is renowned internationally as the horse capital of France.  In Singapore, the year-round sunshine makes wind-surfing, water skiing and beach volleyball popular with participants.

Social Events

Throughout the year INSEAD participants pursue an active social life. The Fontainebleau campus is famous for its "châteaux parties" hosted by students living in nearby châteaux, whilst Singapore participants organise poolside parties or outings to explore the wide variety of local restaurants, bars and clubs. Participants also organise the Winter and Summer Ball in Europe and Asia, and the biannual INSEAD Cabaret.
