Further your potential. Redefine the leader in you.
INSEAD's modular Global Executive MBA programme (GEMBA) takes place in fully integrated campuses across three regions: Europe (France), Asia (Singapore) and the Middle East (Abu Dhabi). The GEMBA offers experienced executives an intensive 14 to 17-month fast-track to the top via one of the world’s most prestigious and multicultural business schools.
Each class has an unparalleled diversity of nationalities and business backgrounds, enabling participants to learn from each other and build a close-knit yet globally distributed network. Another unique feature is the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) which includes a programme-long schedule of group coaching, 360-degree assessments and team activities, designed to develop a leadership style that is authentic to you, thus accelerating your career progress even further.
The GEMBA Advantage
Highly Ranked and Globally Recognised
Both the INSEAD Global EMBA (GEMBA) and the Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA (TIEMBA) are ranked amongst the top in the world.
A Unique Focus on Leadership
Our Leadership Development Programme runs throughout the programme, evolving along with your own leadership skills.
Learning Through Diversity
Unlike other schools, INSEAD doesn’t have a dominant national culture. This enables us to turn diversity into a powerful learning tool.
Global, Intense & Efficient
With only 51 to 60 days needed away from work over a period of 14 to 17 months, depending on your choice of starting campus, the GEMBA is one of the most efficient routes to a top business degree.
Each GEMBA class has an unparalleled diversity of nationalities and professional backgrounds, enabling participants to learn from each other and build a close-knit yet globally distributed network.
Our GEMBA Community
Limitless
Change is Constant
“Change is absolutely constant and a natural part of the cycle of our life,” says Ouiza.
To her, being limitless means to not be afraid of acknowledging gaps and learning new things.
Tsinghua-INSEAD Executive MBA (TIEMBA)
The dual-degree Tsinghua-INSEAD Executive MBA (TIEMBA) provides an additional option for experienced executives – in partnership with one of the world’s great universities in Beijing, Tsinghua University. This unique programme develops an in-depth understanding of business in China, from both international and domestic perspectives, which can also be applied to other emerging markets across the world.
Learn more about the Tsinghua-INSEAD Executive MBA Programme (TIEMBA), a unique and modular dual-degree programme ranked third in the Financial Times Global Executive MBA rankings in 2018. Bringing together one of China's most elite universities (Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management) and one of the world's top business schools (INSEAD), this partnership provides participants with a unique learning experience and access to two of the world's strongest alumni networks.

FAQs
What will the class be like?
The INSEAD GEMBA programme - as any INSEAD learning experience - is aimed at a wide range of executives from many different countries, industries, academic and business backgrounds. The diversity in INSEAD classes truly enriches the learning experience, as each student contributes with his or her own culture, perspective and mindset to the issues studied. Moreover, one of the cornerstones of our programme is our emphasis on group work and virtual teams and the importance of sharing best practices. Executive MBA participants are an important source of support to each other, developing close friendships and international professional network.
After years out of school, how hard is it to adjust to an intensive programme such as the INSEAD GEMBA?
Returning to an intense learning environment such as the INSEAD GEMBA, after many years in business, certainly means adjustment and a major time commitment. But it is also a source of renewed inspiration and energy, a real life-changing experience. To make it work, you need to be prepared to invest time and energy in the people and the programme.
Before applying, we suggest that you try the simple “3Ps test” below:

Personal
Will you have the full support of your family or partner?
Are they aware how long you will be away? Are practical arrangements, such as additional childcare, in place?
Programme
Have you fully researched the format of the GEMBA and compared it with other EMBA programmes?
Are you sure this will work for you and your circumstances?
How much time does the INSEAD GEMBA programme require?
The INSEAD GEMBA programme requires a significant time commitment. This translates to 12 weeks of on-campus modules, and in addition, there is an equivalent of 10 to 12 hours of homework a week.
